A New Face at Lackington’s

It’s with great pleasure that Lackington’s welcomes Matthew Bennardo to the staff as First Reader and Marketing Manager. Matthew has published fiction in Asimov’s, Beneath Ceaseless Skies, Clarkesworld, Strange Horizons, and other venues, including Lackington’s. He’s also an experienced editor, having worked on the Machine of Death anthology and its sequel, This Is How You Die. Matthew has a broad knowledge of SFF literature and publishing, which makes him an ideal first reader for a venue that’s always looking for something unusual in short fiction; he’s able to combine that with a canny marketing expertise, which every magazine needs.
